Vermeer's TG9000 has the largest overall tub diameter in its class at 13 feet 7 inches, and the longest mill inside the cutting chamber at 66 inches. Hydraulic power take-off supplied by PT Tech is an industry first that Vermeer says has proven to be an effective way to transfer horsepower and has improved PTO life while reducing daily maintenance requirements. Two engine options—800 and 1,000 horsepower—are available, as are two hammer mill options. Vermeer's Thrown Object Restraint System reduces distance and quantity of objects thrown from the tub.
