International returns to the low cab-over-engine market and pioneers the light end of the medium-duty truck range with the Class 4 and 5 CF Series. Two models include the CF500, rated at 16,000 pounds GVW; and the CF600, rated at 19,500 pounds GVW. Both trucks will get International's new 4.5-liter VT-275 V-6 engine rated at 200 horsepower and 440 lbs.-ft. of torque running through Ford's TorqShift 5-speed automatic transmission. The CF Series comes from the partnership between Ford and International, and will be produced at the Blue Diamond plant in Mexico. There will eventually be a Ford version.
