Terex Roadbuilding PR950B Milling Machine

Sept. 28, 2010

A C27 Tier-2 diesel engine powers Terex Roadbuilding's PR950B half/full lane milling machine. The engine, rated at 947 horsepower at 1,800 rpm, along with its standard 86-inch half-lane cutter, enable the milling machine to make up to 15-inch-deep plunge cuts. Terex also made the PR950B easy to service, providing unobstructed access to the engine, filters and hydraulic pumps; a quick-mount cutter housing design that simplifies cutter maintenance and cutter change-out; and a tapered cutter housing, which picks up less material.
