Terex AWP Offers Free Online Service Training

Staff | September 28, 2010

Terex Aerial Work Platforms (AWP), Redmond, WA, now offers interactive online training about how to troubleshoot and repair Genie® products.

The training programs are available around the clock and anywhere there is an Internet connection.

To participate, technicians need a computer with Internet access and a registered Genie account.

The course begins with a 12-lesson basic-electrical-theory program that includes an optional review quiz at the end of each lesson.

To pass the final exam, a technician must score at least 80 percent. A printable certificate is provided upon successful completion of the course.

In the future, Terex AWP will introduce an online course about hydraulic theory, followed by specific product courses. All online service training will be free for Terex AWP dealers' technicians.
