With the new Integrated Grade Control option, John Deere’s 750J and 850J crawler dozers can now be shipped from the factory with hardware, software and wiring ready to support grade-control systems from Topcon or Trimble, depending on the customer’s choice. An open architecture approach enables the Deere dozers to operate the grade-control-system software from either of the suppliers, both leaders in grade control for earthmoving machines. Deere is offering “plug and play” convenience to customers with separate development agreements with Topcon and Trimble.
