Topcon's 3D-GPS+ system provides access to both the GPS and GLONASS satellite constellations, allowing the system, says Topcon, to receive more information for maintaining highly accurate grade control when the GPS constellation alone may be inadequate. The new system is designed to provide grade control without conventional grade stakes, and is compatible with traditional Topcon systems. The company says its 3D-GPS+ opens up immediate productivity gains. Estimated price: $75,000 to $90,000.
