HCSS and Samsara are collaborating to offer fleets a way to manage their entire mixed fleet from a single, centralized platform by connecting Samsara-tracked vehicles and equipment directly into HCSS Telematics.

Near real-time GPS location, diagnostics, usage data, fault codes, ignition status, fuel levels, and other critical machine data are now seamlessly incorporated into the HCSS ecosystem. Fleet managers will be able to monitor assets without switching between systems, according to the companies.

By leveraging near real-time diagnostic data from Samsara within HCSS Maintenance workflows, equipment managers can schedule maintenance based on actual usage and conditions rather than relying on fixed schedules.

The integration also centralizes data from both on- and off-road assets within HCSS Telematics, providing managers with a comprehensive view of fleet status whether on job sites or on the road. Samsara data is transmitted in near real-time to HCSS Telematics, ensuring that fleet managers always have access to the most current information for accurate decisions regarding deployment and maintenance, according to the companies.
