Renewable Energy Projects Lags Funding

Solar and wind projects are down this year, even as funding from both federal tax credits and investors is up, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal.

The article cites supply-chain delays, long waits to connect to the grid, and environmental and pollical regulatory hurdles.

It said new wind installations were down 77 percent in the third quarter of 2022 compared to year-ago levels, and solar down 40 percent.
