Rivian said it produced 7,363 vehicles in the third quarter, up 67 percent compared to the second quarter, and recorded $536 million in revenue. It said it delivered 6,584 vehicles in the quarter.
The company has added a second manufacturing shift and reaffirmed its goal of producing 25,000 vehicles this year “despite the challenging supply chain environment.”
Net loss for the quarter was $1.7 billion, up from $1.2 billion for the same period a year ago.
