You work hard every single day, and your trailer needs to be able to keep up—carrying heavy loads through rough terrain, adverse weather conditions, and long hauls. You’ve seen it all on the job, and you know what works and what doesn’t when it comes to trailer design. That’s why Brandt Industries’ product development doesn’t start in a boardroom—it starts on a job site, asking people like you about your experiences, pain points, and recommendations.

Through our Collaborative Product Design process, Brandt consults extensively with contractors to create innovative equipment that sets the standard for the industry. It’s what makes us unique. And it results in more efficient, productive machines that get the job done and meet your specific needs.

“Every trailer we build goes through extensive testing and evaluation with the people who depend on them most,” says Russell Solomon, director of sales USA & Mexico for Brandt Industries. “Our customers know what they need, so we make sure we’re taking the time to listen to them so we can meet those needs in ways that will make a difference for them.”

Listening to the experts

Product development at Brandt starts with the experts: you.

The relationship we have with our friends in Brandt dealerships around the world gives our product planners, engineers, and manufacturing specialists direct access to the hardworking experts that put this equipment to work every single day.

We meet with our User Engagement Groups three times during the process:

  1. Concept Development: We take the time to understand where your existing machines are holding you back and what changes could be made to help you be more productive.
  2. Design Validation: We develop and present an initial product concept, and you help us perfect it.
  3. Prototype Validation: We bring you in to evaluate the prototype in person, giving you one final opportunity for feedback.

In other words, you express your thoughts on the ideal machine, we listen, then we deliver.

Made for the west coast

In our talks with operators on the west coast, we heard they wanted trailers that meet the strict permit and weight-distribution requirements for California and the western states. In response, Brandt released our latest purpose-built trailer: the H750 West Coast Multi-Axle Heavy Haul Trailer.

“We needed a trailer to handle heavy loads in any jurisdiction, and Brandt nailed it,” says Larry Keatts, Owner of Peters & Keatts Equipment. “The axle and suspension specs are perfect. You can tell they knew what they were doing when they built the H750.”

That’s the power of not just talking with people but truly listening and applying their advice. Everyone wins.

Everything you want in a trailer. (We asked.)

The Brandt Heavy Haul Trailer lineup features a full range of open-deck models from 20 to 85 tons with mechanical, hydraulic, or fixed goosenecks, multiple lengths/widths and capacities, jeeps and boosters, paver style, tag trailers, mini deck, and other custom configurations. And they’ve all been designed with operator input every step of the way.

The resulting heavy haul trailers deliver the load factors and features that make them the most durable and safest in their class. They’re available to customers through a growing network of company-owned and independent dealerships across North America.

Through our collaborative product design process, Brandt has consulted extensively with operators to create heavy haul trailers that set the standard for the industry, providing versatility and reliability in a premium product offering.
