The Water Technology Division of Putzmeister America has added the PWT 170 Series water-jetting unit to its product offering. The unit uses a 170-horsepower John Deere four-cylinder diesel engine that drives a “triplex” plunger pump that produces flow rates and pressures from 18.2 gpm at 10,000 psi, to 4.8 gpm at 40,000 psi.

The unit uses a 170-horsepower John Deere four-cylinder diesel engine that drives a “triplex” plunger pump that produces flow rates and pressures from 18.2 gpm at 10,000 psi, to 4.8 gpm at 40,000 psi. The new water-jetting unit features stainless steel piping for suction and discharge lines, an integrated pump gearbox and either skid- or trailer-mounting.
