    Perkins 1104 Series engine

    No fuel-system electronics are required in the 1104 Series engine. Instead, a mechanical fuel-management system achieves Tier 3 emissions compliance. The engine features elements of Caterpillar's ACERT Technology in a package that can be substituted directly for existing 1104C Series engines with no re-engineering. The engines are also available with electronic fuel-management systems and Cat's ACERT Technology.
