PB Joint Venture Wins North Texas Contract

The North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) has awarded a five-year contract to a joint venture led by Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB) for construction management (CM) services. Called the Tollway Transportation Team (TTT), the joint venture includes TEI Construction & Engineering Inc., a minority-owned and -operated local Dallas construction management firm.

The North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) has awarded a five-year contract to a joint venture led by Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB) for construction management (CM) services. Called the Tollway Transportation Team (TTT), the joint venture includes TEI Construction & Engineering Inc., a minority-owned and -operated local Dallas construction management firm.

The NTTA plans to deliver more than 50 miles of new toll roads over the next five years as part of a multibillion-dollar program in addition to the 80 miles of toll roads it already operates in North Texas. The joint venture’s first task order under the contract is for a 2.3-mile extension of the President George Bush Turnpike in Sachse and Rowlett, TX. The construction cost of the project is $60 million with a 34-month time frame.
