Parker Hannifin Ultra Clean hose cleaning system for hydraulic hoseParker Hannifin devised the Ultra Clean hose-cleaning system to scour contaminants from inside hose assemblies by firing Ultra Clean projectiles through them on a blast of compressed air. The system works with 80- to 110-psi air, and the launcher comes with a range of quick-attach tips to fit hose from ¼ inch through 2 inch inside diameters. Operations that make hydraulic hose assemblies and/or install them can reduce system contamination from cutting hose and crimping couplers using Ultra Clean just prior to installing hose. The ultimate aim is improved hydraulic performance and component life. Launcher parts are machined from aluminum and brass and anodized to resist harsh environments.
