The Michigan Concrete Association (MCA) recently announced the election of four new directors to its board: Jerry DeBoer, secretary and controller of Consumers Concrete Corp. in Kalamazoo; Bill Foster, regional engineer with PSI in Plymouth; Greg Colvin, president of Clawson Concrete in Novi; and Dave Gardner, general manager of Lakeside Building Products in Mt. Clemens, a Division of Prairie Materials. In addition, Gary Lowell, of U.S. Concrete in Farmington Hills moved from the MCA board of directors to become a member at large of the executive committee.

MCA has been serving the Michigan ready-mix industry since 1952. It has enhanced educational opportunities for its members by introducing certification programs for drivers, technicians and concrete finishers. As it enters the 21st century, the association continues to aggressively promote concrete as the building material of choice to builders, developers and the general public.
