MT Series Premiere telehandlers includes four models: MT 1440, MT 1840, MT 1840A and MT 1840H. “A” designates aerial work platform capability; “H” designates hydrostatic transmission. Lift capacity is 9,000 pounds with lift heights of 44 feet 4 inches for the MT1440 and 57 feet 7 inches for the MT 1840s. Frame leveling and front stabilizers are standard. The telehandlers have 102-horsepower Perkins Tier 4-Interim engines that deliver 310 lb.-ft. of torque. Manitou differentiates these machines from it MT series. Powershuttle transmission has a 4-speed gearbox, and the units have 4- and 2-wheel steering as well as crab steering. Overall height is 8 feet 1 inch with a width of 7 feet 9 inches.
