Manitou North America unveiled numerous new machines to a meeting of more than 200 dealers last week. The dealers represent the Manitou brands: Manitou, Gehl, and Mustang by Manitou.
“Our Manitou North America Dealer Meeting provides a great opportunity to partner with our customers to gain a greater understanding of their needs and find opportunities to align with them to drive sustainable growth” said Mark Hanson, VP of sales and marketing, in a prepared statement. “It’s critical that our actions are tightly focused on the needs of our customers and that we work together to provide the right products, services and solutions for the markets we serve.”
New products included several mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs). Four telescoping boom models—TJ 65, TJ 65+, TJ 80, and TJ 80+—meet new ANSI standards and offer platform capacities up to 900 pounds unrestricted on the “plus” models.
A new compact line of Manitou-branded machines included a full range of skid steer loaders, compact track loaders, and articulated wheel loaders, including the 1350 RT CTL and MLA-T 533 telescoping articulated loader.
The Gehl ALT950 telescopic articulated loader has an extended lift height of 17 feet. The loader has a CVT transmission and nearly 11,000-pound static tipping load.
