16-foot Maintainer crane has a 15,000 lb.-ft. rating

The 16-foot EH3516 electric-hydraulic crane has a 15,000 lb.-ft. rating and maximum lift capacity of 3,500 pounds. The crane features a planetary winch, with hoist drum and wire rope located outside of the boom for improved operator visibility.

The cranes are mounted with a universal 14.75x14.75-inch or 11.5x14.75-bolt pattern, permitting the cranes to be added to a variety of truck bodies. The EH3516, available only in the short-tower design, features a four-gpm power pack for optimum crane speeds, thermal shut-down built into the 12-volt DC motor, proportional wireless remote, and an optional battery isolator to keep the crane battery charged, while avoiding a drain on the chassis battery.

The new crane also will be offered in a full hydraulic version (H3516) and will replace the current Maintainer crane model 1115. Both versions of the new crane provide 478 degrees of rotation and boom elevation from -13 to +78 degrees.
