Link-Belt Angle Boom

Sept. 28, 2010

Link-Belt now has an angle boom for its 218 HSL lattice-boom crawler crane. The new boom, says the company, is suited for applications such as oil-field service, clamshell work, pile-driving or any rough application in which conditions might be "less than ideal for a tube-type boom." The new boom is available in lengths from 45 to 155 feet, incorporates 4-inch x 4-inch x 0.5-inch chords and can use the same boom extensions as the Link-Belt 308 HYLAB 5.
