DeWalt’s new D25980K electrically powered pavement breaker delivers a rated 61 ft.-lbs of impact energy and is built with automotive-type seals on the ram and piston to minimize the intrusion of dust and debris. Thanks to its electronic control system, the new breaker has a “soft-start” feature, allowing the tool to immediately bite into the material and not “walk” across the surface. The Active Vibration Control system combines shock-mounted, rubber-coated handles with a counterbalance mechanism in the barrel. Easy access to brushes simplifies service. A new carrier allows the breaker to be transported with the bit in place and is designed for easy loading into truck or van.
