Liebherr has developed a new range of  Z-System ground-engaging tools to complement its mining-backhoe and face-shovel bucket design. The new Z-System range includes three tooth profiles to suit applications ranging from well-blasted to very hard ground:. The CL-profile tooth has a long-drawn, pointed shape and provides a sharp cutting edge to facilitate penetration into blasted material and medium-compacted ground; the CR-profile tooth, which fits a bottom-dump bucket configuration, has a wide, thick sole to extend service life in abrasive soils and blasted rock; the P-profile tooth has a pointed shape and is designed for optimal penetration in very hard ground and non-blasted rock applications. The three profiles are available in five different sizes to cover an extensive range of applications.
