LeicaA new version of the LMGS-P 3D machine-control system is for use on asphalt pavers and asphalt-milling machines. It combines a state-of-the-art user interface, CAN-bus architecture and total stations. The system fully automates the steer and cross-slope control of the screed, meaning contractors no longer have to set up stringline. "Plug and pave" technology requires no hydraulic installations or lengthy installation or tuning period.
