Komatsu D155AX-6 crawler dozer has the company's Sigmadozer blade, which is said to increase soil-holding capacity and eliminate sideway spillage. New frontal design forces material to the center of the blade, reducing digging resistance. With blade capacity of 12.3 cubic yards, the dozer has an operating weight of 87,100 pounds and is powered the company's SAA6D 140E-5 diesel that produces 354 horsepower. Automatic gearshift transmission and lock up torque converter reduces fuel consumption by 10 percent, the company says.
