The Kenworth T170, a straight truck with a 4x2 configuration, has a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of up to 19,500 pounds. Standard features include the 6.7-liter PACCAR PX-6 engine rated at 200 horsepower and 520 pounds-feet of torque; an 8,000-pound front axle; 11,500-pound rear axle; hydraulic brakes; low-frame-height chassis with 19.5 inch wheels and tires; power door locks; passenger-side electric windows (optional on driver’s side); choice of manual or automatic transmission; and Kenworth DayLite(TM) doors with right-hand peeper window. The T170, says Kenworth, “provides a highly affordable and maneuverable product for customers in a diversity of applications in the non-CDL, Class-5 market.”
