Kawasaki-KCM 62Z7, 67Z7 Wheel Loaders

Nov. 2, 2015

The 60Z7 and 67Z7 wheel loaders have operating weights of 24,380 and 26,410 pounds, respectively, and are powered by a 152-net-horsepower Tier 4-Interim Isuzu 4HK1 engine. The loaders have hydrostatic transmissions (HST) and limited slip differentials. HST consists of two electrically controlled variable displacement axial piston type hydraulic motors in conjunction with a summation gear box. A variable displacement piston pump drives the motors. A Creeper function allows the operator to control first-gear speed precisely even at full engine speed. The inching pedal allows the piston pump of the hydrostatic drive to destroke and slow the machine in any speed range. The KCM patented IntelliDig system balances rimpull and hydraulic power to optimize loading.

The loader has two power modes, Z‐linkage, standard automatic reversing cooling fan, and standard auto idle shutdown.
