The models meet Tier 4-Final, Tier 4-Interim and Stage III A emissions regulations; non-emissions certified models are also available for non-regulated markets and stationary applications in the EU. The new 2.9L Tier 4-Interim and Stage III A engines, as well as non-certified engines, use a mechanical fuel injection pump and have other heavy-duty features that include replaceable, precision-machined (wet) cylinder liners for heat dissipation.
