John Deere Power Systems PowerTech diesel engines

Designed with Tier-3 compatibility in mind, the 4045H (4.5-liter) and 6068H (6.8-liter) PowerTech diesel engines are Tier 2/Stage 2 compliant and feature four valves per cylinder and an electronically controlled, high-pressure, common-rail fuel system. The engines offer application flexibility through a variety of electronic packages, and full-authority electronic systems provide engine protection and diagnostics. At 2,400 rpm, the 4045H and 6068H provide horsepower ratings of 174 and 275, respectively.
