Entering the 7-yard loader class, the new 844J wheel loader has an electronically controlled, 12.5-liter John Deere PowerTech diesel featuring wet-sleeve cylinder liners and Quad-Cool system with proportional fan drive. The 380-hp loader has Deere Powershift transmission and heavy-duty outboard planetary axles for standard open differential or optional limited slip. Preliminary specs include full-turn tipping load of 42,011 pounds and bucket breakout force of 54,500 pounds.
