JCB Midi CX Backhoe Loader

Sept. 28, 2010

In contrast to modifying a lawn or small agricultural tractor with a bolted-on loader and backhoe frame, JCB set out to design a "true" construction backhoe-loader for the 10-foot dig depth class. The JCB Midi CX's main frame both includes the loader-holding tower and connects directly to the removable backhoe, under which is equipped a Category 1 three-point implement hitch with power take-off for the additional use of attachments. Also with auxiliary hydraulics, the loader end is equipped with a skid-steer-type quick coupler.
