The 540-140 Hi Viz telehandler is the fourth in the range, with a maximum lift capacity approaching 8,500 pounds. Maximum lift height is 44.2 feet; 45.2 feet with stabilizers.
The boom is mounted 9.25 inches lower than the standard 540-140 for increased visibility, and the boom section is reduced 13 percent. Hydraulic performance is matched to engine output, JCB says, and lift performance is matched to stability.
A 74-horsepower JCB EcoMAX engine is standard, which requires no DPF, and optional 108- and 125-horsepower versions use SCR technology.
