    The two-wheel-drive RXT has a lower stance (about 8 feet high) and lower price (starting just under $70,000) than the CXT 4×4 introduced in 2004 to the astonishment of the general news media. RXT has a four-door crewcab with full side skirts and a low step-in height. It has a 230-hp/540-lb.-ft. VT365 V-6 diesel, Allison automatic transmission, commercial-type hydraulic brakes and other beefy driveline parts to haul heavy loads in its 8-foot bed and tow heavy trailers.
