Deutz Continues Whole Goods Service Strategy With New Acquisition
Deutz is at it again.
The engine maker has slowly been acquiring equipment service outlets to expand its offerings to whole goods service.
This time, it's G & T Truck Repair, which covers a large territory — Northern California and Western Nevada — with equipment, commercial truck, and cargo tanker repair. The company also repairs aerial, hydraulic, and light equipment.
Under the agreement, Deutz Corporation will continue to operate the G & T Truck Repair brand from its current location in Applegate, California.

By combining G & T Truck Repairs’ established customer relationships and technical expertise with the broader Deutz service organization, Deutz is further strengthening its ability to deliver comprehensive maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and field service solutions across the western United States.
“G & T Truck Repair is a strong addition to the Deutz service network and aligns with our long-term growth strategy across the U.S. market,” said Spencer McHugh, Head of Americas, BU Service.
“G & T’s technical expertise, customer relationships, and service capabilities strengthen our own ability to support customers across commercial vehicle and equipment service markets while continuing to expand the reach, scale, and capabilities of our service organization.”
