Titan Enters Rubber Track Market

The tire maker will offer 60 SKUs across five tread patterns for CTLs and mini excavators.

There's big news from the land where the rubber meets the road — or the dirt.

Titan International, best known for its wheels and tires, is entering the rubber track market for compact track loaders and mini excavators.

When you think about it, the move makes all the sense in the world with the growing popularity of those equipment categories and dozens of OEMs hopping on the bandwagons. I would be hard pressed to name every mini excavator brand off the top of my head.

Titan says the move has long been anticipated by its customers.

"Our customers have been asking for Titan to enter this space, but we needed to make sure our tracks are as tough as our tires,” says Travis Little, GM, Ag, Construction, and Industrial. “We’ve combined our rubber and engineering expertise to develop a rubber track option that meets our standards and works for our customers.”

In-house track development

Titan relied on its in-house expertise to develop the new product.

Rather than relying on standard rubber formulations, Titan is offering a premium rubber compound specifically for these tracks. Internal testing and field evaluation focused on durability and consistency across a wide range of operating conditions.

Field trials conducted across multiple regions and machine platforms have generated positive feedback from experienced track users, while also accumulating extensive hours to validate performance and longevity in these applications.

“Across all field tests, we have no reports of carcass delamination, guide separation, or structural failure, even beyond the above-average expected hours in multiple cases,” says Chris Smith, Product Engineer, Ag, Construction, and Industrial.

“Testing was also conducted at blue-chip OEM manufacturers where Titan Rubber Tracks exceeded testing requirements on internal durability and high-stress conditions testing.”

Stocking, availability

The initial launch includes nearly 60 SKUs across 5 tread patterns, tailoring to over 950 models and over 1500 fitments with options engineered for mixed surfaces, soft ground, high-impact jobsites, and general-purpose use.

Inventory will be supported through Titan’s centrally located Des Moines facility, helping ensure availability and responsive service for both OEM andaftermarket replacement needs, Titan says.

Titan Rubber Tracks are now available to order, following their introduction to dealers at Titan University 2026 and its public debut at the 2026 National Farm Machinery Show.
