Despite Conexpo quickly approaching, there are a number of OEMs electing to make product introductions some five months earlier at the Utility Expo October 7-9 in Louisville.

Many of the machines and attachments are utility focused and there’s no doubt manufacturers also would like to get a jump on their marketing and sales efforts during what is a quieter show. There are also a few recently introduced products making their trade show debuts.

As usual, the Utility Expo’s ace in the hole is that it is the only major show where attendees can operate equipment.

Here’s a look at some of the introductions Construction Equipment will be covering in Kentucky.

Hyundai

Hyundai will be debuting its HT38 compact track loader in North America. It joins the recently introduced HT100V, and a skid steer. The company has been busy expanding its product line in recent years. Booth K345.

Diamond Mowers

Among the highlights of Diamond’s display at Utility Expo will be four mulching attachments: two drumheads for open and depth control models, a belt-drive disc design, and a 50-inch model for excavators.

The company will also show its newly redesigned Mid-Mount Boom Mower. It offers a narrower profile for a more compact footprint, upgraded excavator-grade components, customizable joystick sensitivity, and an intuitive smart screen interface. Booth N355.

Case

Case Construction Equipment will showcase its latest utility-focused lineup at Booth K277. Highlights include the 580EV electric backhoe and CX15EV electric mini excavator, the CX50D mini excavator, and a preview of the upcoming CX34D mini excavator.

Attendees will also see the 580SV Construction King backhoe and 750M dozer.

Caterpillar

Among the Caterpillar machines on display will be backhoe loaders, CTLs, skid steers, and telehandlers. In celebration of Caterpillar’s Centennial, mini excavators in the Centennial Grey color scheme will be available to operate and take pictures with. BoothK335.

Ditch Witch

Ditch Witch, Subsite, and American Augers will be introducing several new products this year, including the new JT21 horizontal directional drill, Ditch Witch’s new Orange Intel telematics solution, and the SK1000 stand-on skid steer. Booth K350.

Elliott Equipment

Elliott will be unveiling two major product introductions—the D86RD digger derrick and the E-Line basket—innovations it says are designed to transform electrical distribution and transmission construction and maintenance across the United States. Booth E656.

Stellar

This year, Stellar will be showcasing the new 2025 TMAX Mechanic Truck and 2025 Hybrid Power Source (HPS), in addition to its utility and telecom trailers. Booth N509.

VMAC

VMAC will be releasing the new G90 with FlexDrive AMS, a gas-driven air compressor providing up to 90 cfm at 100 psi continuously and up to 50 cfm at 170 psi for high-pressure applications with one system.

The company will also showcase its new battery electric powered rotary screw air compressor, the VMAC e30 with Stealth Power, which is a compact, lightweight, and intelligent battery-electric powered 30 cfm rotary screw air compressor.

Finally, VMAC will also be unveiling its advanced Multi-Port Air Manifold, engineered to transform service trucks and vans into highly efficient and organized pneumatic workstations. Booth S3526.
