Flood Control Project Deals with Labor Shortage

A flood-control project in the area around Fargo-Moorhead, North Dakota, will need nearly 1,000 workers, according to a local news report.

Although not all will be needed at one time, the area has a highly competitive local labor market. Jobs ranging from engineer to equipment operator will need to be filled over the course of the 30-mile-long, $1 billion project.
