VR Simulator Immerses into Safety
A doctoral student at Texas A&M University has developed a virtual reality simulator for construction safety.
According to a report by KBTX (watch it here), Nam Kim, a construction science PhD student, developed the simulator to help workers overcome the inattentive behavior he has identified comes from the abundance of warning alarms sounding on a job site.
His project simulates a road cleaning task around moving equipment, mapping eye movements to determine if the worker is paying attention to the machinery.
