Revenue in the second quarter was $945.3 million for Trimble, up 29 percent from the same period a year ago. Annualized recurring revenue was up 11 percent, to $1.35 billion.
The company breaks its revenue into product revenue, reported as $595 million; service revenue, $162 million; and subscription revenue, $188 million.
Trimble said gross margin for the quarter was 55.6 percent, up slightly from 2020. Net income more than doubled for the quarter, with $138.9 million in Q2 2021 compared to $63 million last year.
The Buildings and Infrastructure segment reported revenue of $364.7 million; Geospatial, $219.7 million, Resources and Utilities, $197.5 million; and Transportation, $163.3 million.
