In a virtual ceremony on Wednesday, Construction Equipment and the Association of Equipment Management Professionals (AEMP) announced the 2021 Fleet Masters Award winners.

The winner for Small Fleets (less than $100 million ERV) was Superior Construction of Portage, Indiana. The winner for Large Fleets (more than $100 million ERV) was Barriere Construction of Metairie, Louisiana. Barriere Construction is a three-time winner of the award.

Superior Construction's Ernie Stephens, CEM, is a former Under 40 in Construction Equipment winner.

Established in 2004, the Fleet Masters Awards recognize equipment professionals who go above and beyond in meeting the challenges inherent in cost-effective, efficient, and effective management of mixed fleets.

Winners represent a standard of excellence that raises the bar for equipment-management professionalism.

Nominations for the 2022 awards will be open in August. Watch the AEMP website and this site for details.
