Berry founded Municibid, an online auction platform, when he was a town councilor. He saw how government agencies, including his, were struggling to sell heavy equipment for their market value instead of the pennies on the dollar they were receiving. In 2016, Government Technology News named Municibid one of the top 100 companies focused on government customers.

Professional accomplishments: Started my first business in 1998, the day after high school graduation, and successfully grew it and sold it in 2010 to focus on the growth of Municibid. Named to the Philadelphia Business Journal 40 under 40 Business People in Philadelphia.
Fun fact: In 2016, I crossed the Atlantic Ocean by boat, traveling from Cartagena, Colombia, to Lisbon, Portugal. I continued on to visit Southern Portugal, Tangier, Morocco (Africa), and Spain.
Extracurricular: Donate and volunteer time for a number of nonprofits in Philadelphia. Mentor new/young startup founders/companies. Speak about entrepreneurship to middle schools, high schools, and young-entrepreneur groups.
