Graceland College Science Center Renovation

Lamoni, IA— JE Dunn Construction has been hired to provide construction management services for the $9-million, 27,000-square-foot renovation for Graceland College Science Center in Lamoni. The program includes academic labs for chemistry, biotechnics, anatomy, botany, and physics, along with a central chemistry prep facility and shared specialty equipment spaces.

Lamoni, IA— JE Dunn Construction has been hired to provide construction management services for the $9-million, 27,000-square-foot renovation for Graceland College Science Center in Lamoni. The program includes academic labs for chemistry, biotechnics, anatomy, botany, and physics, along with a central chemistry prep facility and shared specialty equipment spaces.

According to Dunn, the facility will house new media-rich classrooms, a central theater classroom, computer science lab, info tech workspace, faculty offices, and an administrative suite. Also, an all-new mechanical system ties in with the campus central plant, which will be expanded as part of this project.

Construction is scheduled to begin in September. JE Dunn previously worked on the Graceland College campus on the Gunsolley Dormitory remodel and the Helene Arts Center and Central Plant.
