Goodyear Fuel Max Tire Technology

May 6, 2013

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has enhanced three commercial-truck tire lines with its Fuel Max Technology, which uses specific rubber compounds and advanced design technology to reduce rolling resistance and improve tread life, thus promoting greater fuel efficiency and reduced operating costs.

The new tire lines are the G399 LHS Fuel Max, G572 LHD Fuel Max, and the wide-base G392 SSD with DuraSeal + Fuel Max, which uses a gel-like substance in the tire’s inner liner to instantly seal punctures up to ¼ inch in diameter in the repairable tread area.
