The Commander IIIx paver can slipform a 24-inch radius thanks to the Extreme Package software bundled into the G+ control system. The software enables operators to program the size of the radius into the controller, and the paver does the radius upon activation of the program.
The paver has rotary-sensored slew drives on each of the three tracks for steering, sensored leg positioning, and independent travel circuits to each track. G+ manages all aspects of traveling around the radius, including track angles and variable track speeds.
