Two new fully extendable screed options on the 1648 Power Box asphalt paver allow it to address individual applications. Equipped with a 6-ton hopper and a 41-hp Isuzu diesel engine running at 3,000 rpm, the paver can operate at infinitely variable speeds up to 130 fpm. Paving widths range from 8 to 13 feet and paving depths up to 6 inches. A dual burner propane screed system allows the screed to reach operating temperature quickly.
