A Fond Farewell from Construction Digest

Sept. 28, 2010

All good things must come to an end sometime. Such is the case with Construction Digest. This is the final issue of Digest, marking the end of a proud, 83-year-old publication. Throughout the years, we have provided readers in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, Ohio, and West Virginia with stories on unique and challenging projects. We've featured articles on all types of construction, including highways, bridges, earthwork, tunnels, skyscrapers, dams, railroads, and roller coasters.

As editor of Digest, it is difficult to say goodbye to something that I've loved doing for nearly 31 years. I'll miss traveling and visiting job sites throughout the six-state region, and I'll miss talking with the many contractors, equipment manufacturers, dealers, and public relation officials I've met over the years. Many thanks to everyone!
