The Firestone FS820 All-Position Radial is designed for steer, drive and trailer positions for on- and off-highway service and comes in three sizes.
It features a five-rib design, all-steel casing construction, cap/base compounding, and multiple zigzag gripping. The company has also introduced three Firestone-brand commercial truck tires for regional to long-haul use. The new tires, FS591, FD691, and FT491, meet EPA SmartWay and CARB fuel efficiency requirements without sacrificing removal miles, according to the company. Each truck tire features patented NanoPro-Tech polymer technology that limits energy loss for improved rolling resistance and optimum fuel efficiency, Firestone says.
