Made with vegetable oils formulated with antiwear inhibitors

The Bio-Fleet Rock Drill 40 oil from Renewable Lubricants is a biodegradable lubricant for the protection of rock drills, jackhammers, and other pneumatic equipment.

The oil's formula includes vegetable oils formulated with antiwear/EP, rust, and oxidation inhibitors. Designed to emulsify water for improved lubricity in moist conditions, this formula provides adhesiveness and anti-misting.

The ISO 40 weight formula will not pollute the air, water, soil, or work environment should a spill or leak occur, according to the company.

With a higher VI than synthetics, Bio-Rock Drill Oils have thermal shear stability and increased load capacity.  Their extremely low volatility increases the flash and fire safety features, making them safer for employees to use, according to the company.

The oil meets EPA 21013 Vessel General Permit guidelines for Environmentally Acceptable Lubricants and should be used in hydraulic systems where low toxicity, biodegradability, and non-bioaccumulation properties are required. The oil exceeds the acute toxicity requirements criteria adopted by the US Fish and Wildlife Service and the US EPA.
