Tramac V1600 Evolution

According to Tramac, the new V1600 Evolution addresses a major concern of hydraulic-breaker users, that of dealing with smaller and smaller pieces of boulders and blocks as the job progresses. The V1600's new "smooth start" system, says the company, makes breaking small pieces much safer for a large breaker, while also helping the operator position the tool on a smaller target. The breaker also incorporates a new piston/cylinder design that minimizes the effects of blank firing, as well as a completely redesigned, heavy-duty front guide and a new tool-retaining system. Also new are a two-piece housing, wear plates and a highly effective shock-absorption system.
