Three Questions With: Jeff Stewart, Takeuchi

Takeuchi's president on why the company's gone to E-H controls on its new CTL, the relationship with Japan, and more.

Takeuchi, long known for pilot controls in its compact track loaders, has just released a new CTL with E-H controls, the TL11R3.

It's a 107-horsepower unit with a ROC of 2,735 pounds.

CE's senior editor Frank Raczon talked to Takeuchi U.S. president Jeff Stewart on the reasons for the change, the company's relationship with its Japanese parent, and an interesting human side to the company's headquarters in Pendergrass, Georgia.
