The 363-horsepower Cat D8 crawler dozer has a redesigned, larger cab with more visibility than its predecessor, and has been upgraded with various technology systems.

The next generation cab provides 17% improved visibility than the previous design.

Cat Assist with Attachment Reader Option (ARO) is standard on the Caterpillar dozer, including Stable Blade, Traction Control, Steer Assist, and Blade Load Monitor. ARO provides wiring and mounting for faster installation of dealer-installed options such as grade control.

The Cat D8 can be fitted with remote control at the dealer. Command for Dozing provides line-of-sight remote control from up to 1,312 feet. Overall machine connectivity has been improved on the dozer, enabling use of Remote Troubleshoot and Remote Flash software updates.
