Wacker Neuson reported revenue of about $500 million in its third quarter, up 23.2 percent from the same period a year ago. Year to date, revenue is up 18.1 percent to about $1.68 billion.

The company cited general supply chain problems and high material, energy, and logistics costs. In North America, the company said it was seeing strong demand, particularly for skid steer loaders and excavators.

“Even though the challenges are steadily increasing over the course of this year, we have so far succeeded in continuing to grow strongly quarter by quarter and catch up in terms of profitability,” said Karl Tragl, CEO, in a statement. “Demand from our customers remains high, meaning that our order backlog continues to grow and now extends well into the second half of 2023.”
